    Old VS New

    Κατά καιρούς βλέπουμε όλο και περισσότερα remakes από παλιά και νοσταλγικά παιχνίδια - ταινίες - τραγούδια - whatever.

    Προσωπικά σχεδόν στο 90% των περιπτώσεων βρίσκω πως τα originals είναι καλύτερα, όμως κάπου κάπου ανακαλύπτω κάποια remakes που είναι πολύ καλύτερα από την πρώτη εκτέλεση.

    Ποια είναι η προσωπική σας γνώμη πάνω στο θέμα?

    Μπορείτε να ποστάρετε και videos, για να μπορούμε να κάνουμε όλοι την σύγκριση.
    Ξεκινάω εγώ με ένα video clip από το τραγούδι "Every time we touch" της Maggie Reilly και το remake της Cascada:

    Η γνώμη μου είναι πως της Maggie Reilly είναι ΠΟΛY καλύτερο και ως μουσική και ως φωνή.

      Πιστευω κι εγω οτι συνηθως τα original ειναι καλυτερα.
      Διασκευη τραγουδιου που πιστευω οτι ξεπερασε το original για εμενα ειναι η διασκευη των Cradle of filth στο mr.Crowley του Ozzy (δεν το λεω παραεξω αυτο,θα με πλακωσουν).Το original ειναι κομματαρα αλλα η διασκευη που του εκαναν το εφερε πιο κοντα στο στυλ που μου αρεσει.

      Edit:Επισης,ανωτερη του original ειναι η διασκευη των dio/malmsteen στο dream on των aerosmith.Κλασικη η αρχικη εκδοση αλλα η φωναρα του dio εκανε την διαφορα.Ποτε δεν συμπαθησα την τσιριδα του Tyler(εφυγε προσφατα απο τους Aerosmith για οσους δεν το ξερουν).

        Lol κοίταξα αστραπιαία το thread και μόλις είδα το Ozzy Ozbourne αμέσως υπέθεσα ποιο κομμάτι θα ήταν . Βέβαια το cover που περίμενα ηταν κάτι τέτοιο:



        Στ'αλήθεια ένα πολύ σκοτεινό κομμάτι. Ακόμη μου φαίνεται αταίριαστο για Ozzy, αν και σ'αυτό λογικά συμβάλλει και ότι το άκουσα πρώτα από Moonspell. Ωραίο και των CoF πάντως, αν και Moonspell δεν είναι.

        +1 στο Somari, υποθέτω ότι και για αυτό φταίει ότι άκουσα το εν λόγω κομμάτι, από Metallica πρώτα.

            Καλα εννοειται πως το συγκεκριμενο της M.Reilly ειναι απειρα καλυτερο σε ολα. Συνηθως το original ειναι καλυτερο ΑΛΛΑ :

                Πρόσφατα κυκλοφόρησε ο δίσκος "Τους Έχω Βαρεθεί" με διασκευές απο Υπόγεια Ρεύματα σε πολιτικά τραγούδια του Θάνου Μικρούτσικου. Μία απο τις πιο τολμηρές διασκευές στο δίσκο ήταν και αυτή της "Ρόζας" που τραγούδησε ο Μητροπάνος το 1996 στου "Αιώνα τη Παράγκα".





                Θεωρώ πως η διασκευή αυτή αφαιρεί αρκετή απο τη πυγμή που πρέπει να έχει το τραγούδι. Δεν είναι πλέον ζεϊμπέκικο και η ενορχήστρωση είναι αρκετά πιο λιτή και υποτονική, όπως είναι και η ερμηνεία. Δεν είναι κακό, με τίποτα, απλά αδυνατεί να υποστηρίξει επαρκώς τους στίχους.

                    Συμφωνουμε Ground_Zero.Αυτος ηταν ο λογος που μου ηρθε πρωτη στο μυαλο η διασκευη των cradle of filth,επειδη δεν ηταν απλα μια επανεκτελεση του κομματιου αλλα το ειχαν φερει στα μετρα τους.Ουτε εμενα μου αρεσει η φωνη του Danny οπως επισης δεν μου αρεσε και του τραγουδιστη των moonspell.Βαριεται να τραγουδησει ο ανθρωπος,κανει τον ozzy να ακουγεται φωναρα με εκταση.

                      Γενικά, σχεδόν όλες οι διασκευές που έχουν κάνει οι Metallica είναι καλύτερες από τα original. Είναι μάστορες οι άνθρωποι, τι να λέμε τώρα.

                      Συνήθως, όμως, το original πράγμα είναι καλύτερο κατά την εκτίμησή μου. Κι αυτό δεν αφορά μόνο τον χώρο της μουσικής.

                        Το Whiskey in the Jar των Thin Lizzy δεν ήταν τόσο καλή. Εμένα προσωπικά μου αρέσει το medley στους Mercyful Fate.

                            Κι εγω προτιμω τον Cash.Παρα πολυ καλη διασκευη ειναι αυτη του Chris Cornell στο Billie Jean.Δεν λεω οτι καποια εκδοση ειναι καλυτερη απο την αλλη,ειναι για διαφορετικες ωρες το καθενα.
