A major breakthrough has hit the Wii scene in the form of a program called Trucha Signer.

This program allows you to modify the contents of a Wii iso and then re-sign it with an electronic signature the Wii will accept. Basically, in theory you could put anything you wanted into a Wii iso (or take out, eg: Wii updates) and by using this tool to re-sign it the Wii will not reject the altered disk.

The author has also stated he is working on adding Virtual Console and Wii Channel support to the program. It would be within the realm of possibility that a way to run any VC game or Wii channel on your Wii would pop-up at some stage.

The author states this tool was made possible through a system bug that compromised all of the Wii's system security. This bug is apparently easy for Nintendo to spot and the author alludes that Nintendo might fix this bug in a future firmware update as they have done with a previous bug not disclosed to the public. Fixing the bug would stop the signature Trucha Signer uses from working.

So for now we advise not to update your Wii and wait and see how things evolve. What will be possible in time? We're not sure. Custom firmwares, changing Wii regions, editing games to remove updates, copy VC games you haven't bought to your system from an SD card... It's just speculation for now. Stay tuned.[/b]

This program let you extracts files, replace files, and
insert a "trucha signature" in a Wii disc partition, the
source data could be an ISO image or just be read straight
from a DVD drive (backup copies).

This program requieres the "common key" available in a
Keyset in the window registry (use the example Keyset
provide as a template and add keys on it).

Credits goes to the original team that show this hack in
the 24th Chaos Communication Congress: bushing, segher and
tmbinc.

belmont, νομιζω με αυτον το τροπο καταφερανε και βγαλανε το manhunt 2 για το Wii χωρις censorship.
αρα να υποθεσω τωρα πως το iso του smash bros brawl που περιειχε πακετα με μερικους χαρακτηρες ακομα αλλα στην τελικη τους ξεκοψανε, με αυτον τον τροπο και παλι θα μπορεσουν να τους ξεκλειδωσουν. και ισως κατι να παιχτει με το zelda

Πριν λιγο παρελαβα την Μ3 Real και εχω μια απορια.Οταν μπαινουμε σε ενα homebrew π.χ. Beup ή geografika πως βγαινουμε μετα?Πατησα ολα τα κουμπια,εψαξα για καποια επιλογη αλλα τιποτα.Και αναγκαστηκα και εσβησα το DS για να ξαναπαω στο κεντρικο μενου.Αυτο πρεπει να κανω καθε φορα?Η εμενα μου ξεφυγε κατι?Ευχαριστω.

μεγειες The_Legend_Reborn δυστυχως καθε φορα θα πρεπει να κλεινεις το ds. τουλαχιστον αυτο ξερω εγω μιας και περα απο r4/m3 simply, δεν εχω ασχοληθει με αλλες καρτες.

με το ds organise ξερω οτι μπορεις να τρεξεις καποιες εφαρμογες και ισως να υπαρχει καποιος τροπος απο εκει για να μην κλεινεις καθε φορα το ds. επισης εχω ακουσει πως μπορεις να τρεξεις εφαρμογες και με την βοηθεια του moonshell και απο οσο ξερω το moonshell αμα πατησεις το start μπορεις να βγεις μετα ξανα στο κεντρικο μενου. ολα αυτα ειναι υποθεσεις

edit: belmont, εψαξα αρκετα για το manhunt 2 και αυτο που εμαθα ειναι πως η εκδοση του Wii εχει πολυ πιο σκληρες σκηνες απο οτι η εκδοση του ps2. ολοι εχουν παθει την πλακα τους

επισης εχει βγει ενα προγραμμα το οποιο πεταει ολη την σαβουρα απο τα iso's.

Ερωτησούλα...Τα έχω κάνει όλα στην m3 real μου...και σύστεμ έβαλα και έναν φάκελο NDS και τα αρχεία που έχω κατεβάσει είναι .nds...η m3 μου όμως ΑΡΝΕΙΤΕ να παίξει τα games.Πάω στα εικονίδια τους κανονικά όμως ότι και να πατήσω δεν μπαίνουν...WTF? :blink:

Δεν έχω real για να ξέρω με απόλυτη βεβαιότητα αλλά
-μήπως λείπει κάποιο αρχείο από τον φάκελο SYSTEM;
-μήπως θέλουν με το Α κι οχι με το start τα games;
-είναι οκ οι φάκελοι που απαιτεί η real;
