GST και για μένα από ότι φαίνεται .. Μου άρεσαν όλα σε όσα είδα, και σύμφωνα με το GAF, γίνεται πολύ καλύτερο παίζοντας το ... Στο κάτω-κάτω, έκανα και χειρότερες αγορές στο Wii

Βασικα η επιλογη γινεται πιο ευκολη δεδομενου οτι δεν υπαρχει bundle του VT 2009 με WM+. Αντιθετα το παιχνιδι κυκλοφορει ειτε σκετο στα 39.99€ ειτε με 2 πλαστικες ρακετες-καλυμματα του remote, στα 49.99€. SEGA delivers again.

Αυτό το παιγνίδι ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να είναι πραγματικά καλό, από την στιγμή που το eurogamer παραδέχεται ότι έκανε λάθος και σκοπεύει να το ξανακάνει review

This morning we received a tip-off from our colleagues at Eurogamer.de that they had encountered substantial differences in Wii MotionPlus performance on their Wii debug review kit and their retail Wii console. Obviously this set off alarm bells - Kristan Reed had reviewed Grand Slam Tennis on a Wii debug kit.

With the gravity of that in mind, I went out and bought a boxed copy of Grand Slam Tennis and a WMP and hotfooted it round to Kristan's, where we both tested it out. Our German friends were absolutely right: there's a substantial, immediately noticeable difference between the responsiveness playing the game on a retail Wii.

As a result, I'm immediately withdrawing Eurogamer's Grand Slam Tennis review until we will publish a new review based purely on retail console play. The existing text will remain online with big whopping signposts on it that highlight the above, and once the replacement review is published, it will redirect to that.

Η πλακα ειναι πως αποσυρανε και το review του VT 2009 καθως μεσα στο review υπηρχαν αναφορες για το GST(συγκρισεις προφανως)

P.S. It should be pointed out that Virtua Tennis 2009 is a bit of an innocent victim in all this, and stands alone as a good game. Kristan's review text is still online, but has been amended with a caveat in similar fashion to Grand Slam Tennis until such time as it's revised.

Για οσους αναρωτιουνται, αρχικα η βαθμολογια στο GST ηταν 5 ενω στο VT 7.

Πάντως τα μέχρι τώρα review του VT είναι πολύ θετικά.
Εγώ δηλώνω πλήρης ικανοποιημένος μέχρι στιγμής, έστω και χωρίς motion+.

Ήδη είχα γράψει ένα mini-review αλλά με μία μαλακία μου το διέγραψα τελείως λίγο πριν πατήσω το add reply. :kill:

Θα το ξαναγράψω όταν βρω χρόνο.

Far from being "crippled by unintuitive controls", the reality is that it's beautifully intuitive, and just about shades Virtua Tennis 2009 on Wii by simply having a more satisfying feel to it. It might feel a little lightweight as an all-round package, but as a multiplayer game it's hard to top. It's a close-run thing, but as far as tennis titles go right now, this sits right at the top of the pile, and is a cracking advert for the Wii MotionPlus.

On the whole, Virtua Tennis 2009 is another clear indication of the potential of the Wii MotionPlus add-on. While the game struggles to provide intuitive accuracy with default motion controls, the addition of Nintendo's little dongle transforms the accuracy of the strokeplay in a manner which will be warmly received by both old-school Virtua Tennis fans, and casual admirers of the sport at large. A few residual issues with the running mechanic aside, VT2009 is a great tennis game, especially in multiplayer. It might lack some of the charm and fluidity of EA’s offering, but Sumo deserves much credit nevertheless. With two strong tennis titles on the market, Wii owners suddenly find themselves spoilt for choice.

The biggest issue people are going to have with Grand Slam Tennis in its launch phase is shelling out GBP 20 a pop for MotionPlus units to unlock the obvious multiplayer potential it has. While online is a great way to enjoy the game, there's nothing quite like taking on a friend in the same room as you. And if you're hoping for local doubles action, well... that's one hell of an investment for a tennis title. Right now, you're either going to have to spend the money to find out, or hope that your friends are willing to part with the extra cash for the slightly-better-value bundled versions. In these early days of the WMP, such issues are going to be moot for many.


And in Grand Slam Tennis's case, they may be entirely moot, for this is a game which absolutely requires a WMP to unlock its potential. Η SEGA ειναι κλασικα στον κοσμο της και κανει παρεα στην Konami, απλα μου παραφανηκε υποπτη η αλλαγη, αλλα αν ειναι ετσι οκ, εχει καλως.
Το θεμα ειναι τι δεν πηραν χαμπαρι στο 1ο ριβιου και ξαφνικα ξυπνησαν και αναθεωρησαν..

Μπορει να ακουγεται υποπτο δεν αποκλειεται ομως κι απ'οτι φαινεται αυτο συνεβη. Αλλωστε στο αρχικο review αναφερανε προβληματα και δυσλειτουργιες με το M+ που κανεις αλλος δεν εχει συναντησει.

Επειδή εγώ είμαι καχύποπτος και ο κόσμος βρώμικος, Ι'll go for the "κακή, βδελυρή και αναίσχυντη εκδοχή των πραγμάτων".
Ακόμη και έτσι όμως, από τα λίγα που είδα και είπατε, το Grand Slam Tennis φαίνεται ok tennis. Και με απλά μαθηματικά, Οk Tennis + Καλή Παρέα + Wii = WIN ( και δη για έναν άνθρωπο που έχει φτάσει στο σημείο να αγοράσει το Table Tennis ). Ό,τι πρέπει για το καλοκαιράκι imo, σε λογική τιμή το παίρνω σχεδόν σίγουρα.

Υ.Γ: Και οποιεσδήποτε λεπτομέρειες προκύψουν εν καιρώ, καλοδεχούμενες.

Edit: Υπάρχουν, για παράδειγμα official γήπεδα, τεννίστες και λοιπά στο γήπεδο (αν και για το τελευταίο από το βιντεάκι έχω την εντύπωση πως ναι); Sorry αλλά είμαι άσχετος και βαριέμαι να διαβάζω reviews right now.

Δημιουργεις δικο σου χαρακτηρα και ξεκινας τη καριερα σου.

Περιλαμβανει τα 4 Grand Slam tournaments
-Australian Open
-French Open
-Wimbledon Open
-US Open

Υπαρχουν κι αλλες προκλησεις οπως να αντιμετωπισεις καποια μεγαλα ονοματα και να μαθεις απ'αυτους καποια ειδικοτητα. Νομιζω μπορεις να εχεις μεχρι 3 τετοιες ιδιοτητες. Επισης ξεκλειδωνεις αξεσουαρ για την εμφανιση του χαρακτηρα σου.

Περιλαμβανονται αγωνες ενας με εναν αλλα και δυο με δυο.


Practice Court
Δυστυχως δεν υπαρχει καποιο tutorial στο game περα απο καποια tips κατα το loading. Υπαρχει ομως το practice court. Ενα μηχανημα σου πεταει μπαλες συνεχομενα εξασκοντας ετσι τα χτυπηματα σου. Μπορεις να διαλεξεις ποσο συχνα να ερχονται, τι δυναμη να εχουν, τι πορεια κ.α. ενω μπορεις να ταβαλεις ολα τυχαια για να προπονηθεις σε απροβλεπτα χτυπηματα.
Επισης μπορεις να εξασκηθεις στα service σου.

-Quick Play

Διαλεγεις παικτη, γηπεδο, mode, δυσκολια και παιζεις ενα match στα γρηγορα χωρις καποια περαιτερω σημασια, ειτε μονος ειτε με φιλους.


- Fitness Mode
Οταν χρησιμοποιεις ενα δικο σου παικτη που εχεις φτιαξει (σε οποιοδηποτε mode) το παιχνιδι υπολογιζει και καταγραφει ποσες θερμιδες εχεις καψει. Μπορεις μαλιστα να ορισεις εσυ εναν στοχο πχ 80 την ημερα και μετα απο καθε ματς βλεπεις ποσο κοντα εχεις φτασει.


- Tennis Party
7 mini games περιλαμβανονται στο παιχνιδι. Δε τα εχω τσεκαρει καθολου. Να τι βρηκα ομως:

· Tag Team: 2 on 2 with players rotating and taking turns hitting the ball
· Aussie Doubles: 2 on 1 and the players rotate after each set
· Drops and Lobs: use the drop shot and lob winners for double points
· Champs vs Chumps: time based game, take turns swinging, win the rally to become a champ
· King of the Court: beat the king to become king, only the king earns points
· Netmasters: Net shots are worth double points
· Triplets: Similar to Aussie doubles where (2 on 1) but the players do not rotate around

Είναι πολύ καλή λίστα, αλλά υπάρχουν ονόματα που δεν περίμενα να δώ, και στην θέση τους θα μπορούσαν να υπάρχουν άλλα ..

Π.χ.

O Nishikori είναι ακόμα 19 ετών και είναι ακόμη ταλέντο .. Το αν θα γίνει ποτέ μεγάλος παίκτης αυτό είναι σχετικό .. Είναι Ιάπωνας όμως, και μάλλον θα ήθελαν να δώσουν κίνητρο και στους Ιάπωνες να το αγοράσουν Ας έβαζαν τον Μάρκο Παγδατή στην θέση του καλύτερα

Oι Pat Cash και Michael Stitch, απλά κέρδισαν το Wimbledon μια φορά .. Δεν μπορούν να ονομάζονται "legends" όσο σημαντικό τουρνουά και αν είναι το Wimbledon .. Θα μπορούσαν να βάλουν τον Ivan Lendl, Andre Agassi, Gustavo Cuerten, Jimmy Connors ..

Όσο αφορά τις γυναίκες θα ήθελα 2-3 ακόμα legends .. Steffi Graff, Monica Seles, Martina Hingis έιναι μερικά ονομάτα που μου έρχονται ... Αλλά έτσι και αλλιώς όποτε θα διαλέγω γυναίκα, πάντα την Ivanovic θα διαλέγω, γι'αυτό δεν με χάλαει

Φυσικα παράπονο δεν έχω από το roster, απλά κουβέντα να γίνεται
