Μακάρι να φέρουν τελικά μέχρι εδώ το νέο Suikoden. To PSP έχει ακόμη αρκετά πράγματα να δώσει τελικά. Πάντως το Suikoden Tierkreis είναι από τα αγαπημένα μου παιχνίδια στο DS.
Ανακοινώθηκε το God Eater 2 για PSP.

Tokyo Game Show is on. And with it comes new preliminary information for Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance. Really big news being reported by Siliconera and 1up is that Square Enix is implementing a crossover character. Neku, the main character of the DS game The World Ends With You appears in the game's demo. Prior to this, only original characters or those from Disney or Final Fantasy have appeared. From what Siliconera has to say, he may be teased as a partner character. Neku appears in Traverse Town as Sora is calling out for Riku. He appears on a rooftop and jumps down to talk with Sora. Neku mentions needing a partner to play the Reaper's Game with (TWEWY's story revolves around this). One wonders if this may be a tease for potential future sequels to The World Ends With You as well. Major news there though, surprising twist.
The demo at TGS has scenarios for both Sora and Riku. No footage yet, but soon. Gameplay from the concepts so far indicated a parkour style. There's also some new art for the game, revealing even more new info. Firstly, the game is confirmed for release Spring 2012 in Japan (with any luck, summer or before for US/EU). Art shows Sora and Riku in their younger Kingdom Hearts 1 forms, but they now have brand new clothes not seen before. Riku's outfit looks like a cross between both his previous outfits. Sora's outfit looks like a cross between his KH1 clothes and his limit or valor forms from KH2. Riku is also using his Way to Dawn keyblade, as opposed to his Soul Eater dark sword seen in previous trailers. And lastly, there are two new creatures in the art. One is a batlike creature, resembling Metaknight from Kirby, the other looks similar to a dog or bear. It is unknown whether these creatures are allies or enemies (they don't appear to be heartless, nobodies, or unversed either). Please check a shot of the art in the link below. The first real clear gameplay footage of Kingdom Hearts 3D was posted online. It's not direct feed, but you can see the game clearly this time. There are three videos showing the two scenarios available in the Tokyo Game Show demo. The first shows Sora in his new clothes at Traverse Town. While a recurring world, don't assume it looks anything like it did in previous games, it has been completely redesigned from scratch it seems with new areas and scenery (basically looking nothing like the other versions). Sora meets Neku from The World Ends With You, a surprising cameo revealed earlier this week. Neku doesn't appear for long and is only an NPC character in the demo (he may have more importance in the final game). Sora fights some enemies and a boss and shows off some of his flashy new moves such as wall jumping and swinging on lamp posts. The second and third videos show off Riku's gameplay. He sports new clothes as well and the world you're seeing is the Hunchback of Notre Dame, believed to be called "City of Bells". Footage includes a boss fight. As you can see, the gameplay is very similar to Birth By Sleep, though it's flashier and faster paced. You have new sorts of combat partners, strange monsters which fight alongside you. Σημειωτέον και το Chrono Trigger (που εκτός Ιαπωνίας είναι πολύ πιο δημοφιλές από το Dragon Quest ακόμα και σήμερα) έχει character design από Akira Toriyama αλλά δεν έχω δει άτομα να το αποφεύγουν κι ας είναι Dragonball haters. Αν και πάλι το βρίσκω ηλίθιο όταν μισείς ένα anime/manga να μισείς κι ο,τιδήποτε άλλο έχει σχεδιάσει ο δημιουργός του κι ας μην έχει αναλάβει το σενάριό του. Π.χ. το Code Geass έχει character design από CLAMP της οποίας το στυλ manga που δημιουργούν αρκετά άτομα το μισούν ιδίως όσοι μισούν τα shoujo manga για τ' οποία είναι διάσημη η CLAMP. Αλλά δεν είδα να τους πολυαπασχόλησε με το Code Geass κι ας ήταν μια υπερτιμημένη μετριότητα το εν λόγω anime με πρωταγωνιστή μια κακιά απομίμηση του Kira από το Death Note.
