Πάντως να επαναλάβω ότι η NPD δεν λαμβάνει υπόψιν αρκετά στοιχεία όσν αφορά τα pc games...
Είναι δλδ. μεγαλύτερα στην πραγματικότητα τα pc νούμερα από της NPD.

As we&#39;ve seen from a number of our studies, the PC continues to be a top platform in terms of total game playing time, so I don&#39;t think this slight decline in retail sales is anything more than a reflection of a shifting of distribution channels," Frazier explained.

Although NPD doesn&#39;t currently have any data or estimate for the amount of revenue generated by digital downloads and subscriptions on the PC, Frazier added, "This [console vs. PC sales gap] isn&#39;t really a new phenomenon. Video games software sales, and even just the console portion of that figure (at retail) have been greater than PC retail sales every year that we&#39;ve tracked (1995). Yes, the video games (console & portable) retail sales have really exploded, but again, until we can get a measurement of dollars spent online, we won&#39;t have the true picture."[/b]

Australia software sales - Week ending Jan. 13th

Ε εντάξει έχεις δίκιο μαν, αλλά είναι και μερικοί άλλοι παράγοντες...π.χ. η ΝPD έχει ξεχωριστά charts για pc,δεν μετρά τους τίτλους που πωλούνται οnline,οπότε δεν ξέρουμε κι από εκεί δεδομένα. Δεύτερον, στο pc δεν υπάρχουν royalties που πρέπει να πληρώσουν οι devs. Τέλος όπως σωστά είπες, τα pc games έχουν πιο μακροπρόθεσμη απόδοση σε software, δεδομένης της αναβάθμισης κτλ.

Τέσπα νταξ, όντως λιγοστεύουν οι αποκλειστικότητες του pc αλλά πάντα όμως -όπως είπα και στο τόπικ του 2008- σχεδόν όλα από εκεί ξεκινούν σε θέματα software genres & hardware και μετά από καιρό περνάνε στις κονσόλες, όπως και σε νέους πειραματισμούς κτλ. Για μας δουλεύουν ρεεεεεεεεεεεε ;) j/k
Ποτέ δεν πρόκειται να σταματήσει η υποστήριξή του,όλοι οι multiplatform τίτλοι θα κυκλοφορούν κι εκεί.

Eιδα αυτο,αλλα και αυτα που παραθεσε ο boy πιο πανω(τα ιδια ειναι βασικα).Ειναι πωλησεις για το Δεκεμβρη αλλα και γενικα για το 2007.Ρε παιδια που ειναι το software για PC??

Ειδα χτες στο tomshardware(μεγαλο site για τον χωρο του PC)και μιλαγανε για τη πτωση σε πωλησεις.Μεσα στο 2007 αν και ηταν απο τις καλυτερες χρονιες για games στο PC υπηρξε τεραστια πτωση σε πωλησεις.Ειπανε ας πουμε(και μιλαγανε με τη σκοπια του PC gamer)πως το COD4 πουλησε 100.000 κοπιες πανω κατω δε θυμαμαι,ενω στο 360 για το Δεκεμβρη εφτασε το 1,5 εκατομ&#33;&#33;&#33;WTF&#33;&#33;&#33;To Crysis τπτ και αυτο,μαυρα χαλια και το unreal.Μονο gamecards στο wow αγοραζουν lol.


Δε τα περιμενα αυτα που ακουσα και μαλιστα οι αριθμοι μιλαγανε απο μονοι τους.Μιλησαν για τη πειρατεια και με στοιχεια εδειξαν πως εχει φτασει σε τεραστιο βαθμο.Το χειροτερο ειναι πως μιλαμε για το 2007 που βγηκαν ΑΑΑ τιτλοι.

Μετα μου λετε δε θα βγει Crysis στις κονσολες.Ηδη ετοιμαζουν το sequel και θελουν κεφαλαιο για να το στηριξουν.Το game εχει πατωσει.Σιγουρα πολλοι περιμενουν να βγει νεο hardware,να αναβαθμισουν και να το παρουν μετα.Υπαρχουν αλλοι τοσοι ομως που διαβαζω πως τον βαρεθηκαν αυτον τον φαυλο κυκλο στο PC και το γυριζουν στις κονσολες.Που και υψηλη αναλυση και online εχουν πια.Μεχρι τα χριστουγεννα θα εχει βγει το Crysis στις κονσολες,ειναι κατι παραπανω απο σιγουρο πλεον.

Δεν υπαρχουν exclusives στο PC.Μονο τα MMO θα ειναι πια,καθως μονο αυτα πουλανε.Μα 100.000 το COD4??LOL απλα.Μεχρι και το Spore θα βγει στο Wii.


Δε το περιμενα αυτο που ειδα χτες.
