Παντως ειδα αυτα που εβαλε ο Azrael για την ΑΙ πιο πανω, παλιο ποστ μεν αλλα τωρα ασχοληθηκα.
Το παλικαρι που τα εγραψε, εαν εχει αυτος εμπειρια απο αγωνιστικη οδηγηση εγω ειμαι ο Σουπερ Γκουφυ χωρις να χρειαζομαι μαγικα φυστικια!
Η ΑΙ του prologue ειναι απλως non-existant, ειδικα σε μερικες κατηγοριες αυτοκινητων ειναι λες και βλεπεις τρενακι σε ραγες.
Εαν καποιος παρακολουθησει εστω και πεντε γυρους απο εναν αγωνα Ενιαιου (οπως Yaris Cup στην Ελλαδα) θα καταλαβει τι παει να πει αγωνιστικη οδηγηση, και δεν μιλαμε καν για περιπτωσεις F1, Indy Car, IRL ή εστω GTCC. Ενα βιντεο απο οποιοδηποτε Touring Car αγωνα θα σας πεισει.
Ολος ο κοσμος περιμενει να δει επιτελους μια καλη ΑΙ στην σειρα. Προσωπικα ειναι η μεγαλυτερη μου φοβια για style over substance στο GT5. Ελπιζω να μαθαν επιτελους το μαθημα τους στην Polyphony...Leave a comment:

Στο gameplay δεν θα εχει το ΑΑ που εχει σε αυτες τις εικονες(απ'οσο γνωριζω δεν υπαρχει MLAA στο παιχνιδι ωστε να ειμαστε πιο κοντα σε κατι τετοιο).
Τα premium cars βεβαια και στο prologue εδειχναν καταπληκτικα.

Μη ξεχνας DJ οτι αυτες οι εικονες ειναι σε αλλες διαστασεις απο αυτες που παιζει το παιχνιδι. Aliasing προφανως και θα υπαρχει in game αναλογα με το ποσο κοντα εισαι κι αν παιζεις 720p ή 1080p, ακομη κι ετσι ομως τα γραφικα θα ειναι το κατι αλλο.Leave a comment:

Απο το photo mode του παιχνιδιου ειναι απ' οσο λενε - μπορει και να κανω λαθος βεβαια δεν εχω ασχοληθει με το θεμα.
Τωρα αν μπαινουν επιπλεον φιλτρα στο photo mode δεν το γνωριζω, αλλα οπως και να χει το αποτελεσμα ειναι παραπανω απο εντυπωσιακο.Leave a comment:

Δε ξερω, μετα απο ολα οσα εχουν δει τα ματια μου, τα παραπανω φαινονται bullshots. Δλδ ουτε aliasing ουτε τιποτα, και αυτο ακριβως το αποτελεσμα θα πρεπει να περιμενουμε στις full hd μας;

So I hop in my car, drive as fast as I can without getting a speeding ticket (wasting time with cops).....call her on the way, ask her if there are "two packages" (2 x GT5 CE), she said "yes"...
I try to stay calm for the next 30 minutes. I go upstairs. I look at the cardboard box on the outside to look for "DO NOT SELL BEFORE NOV. 24"...then I see "DO NOT SELL BEFORE NOV. 9" instead.....
I open the box. I see two packages of COD: Black ops with the remote control car...(which I had forgotten to cancel)

Before answering I have to elaborate on this.
I am a 100% clear racer and I try to drive racing simulations as I would drive the car in RL. I also do not tend to exploit the physics and tracks (going crazy over kerbs, going off-track and over shortcuts, passing on impossible places and so on).
Said that, I was amazed with AI in GT5: Prologue because it was the most convincing AI that I ever witnessed in any video game. Of course, during Mission test you had to make few dirt moves in order to pass the tests (especially on One Lap Magic tests on Pro physics), but if you'd settled your own race with 20 laps and then try to race 100% clean - including taking no shortcuts and such - it was a breathtaking race experience.
I know many people didn't dig Prologue's AI, although I can't understand why.
I find AI of GT5 advanced over Prologue, especially in blocking procedures. Also, AI drivers make mistakes and they fight among themselves - which makes for some great moments. However, they will brake on time if you're in front of them (no more GT-GT4 bumping), when you pass they'll try to regain position on the very fair manner and so on.
In short - in my personal book, GT5 have the best AI routines I've ever seen in genre so far.Leave a comment:
