Καλά αν η S-E χάσει τον lead developer του XIV θα γίνει επίσημα η πιο αποτυχημένη εταιρεία ever. Δεν περίμενα με τίποτα να καταφέρει να δημιουργήσει ένα τόσο καλό fanbase και hype για ένα κυριολεκτικά νεκρό τίτλο.

Respect απλά, εξαιρετικό στήσιμο, φοβερή εκτέλεση και από ότι βλέπω οι fans κάθε άλλο παρά απογοητευμένοι είναι. Το να χτίσεις ένα σενάριο σε ένα ΜΜΟ φαντάζομαι ότι είναι δύσκολη υπόθεση, να το κάνεις τους παίχτες να θέλουν να επιστρέψουν στο παιχνίδι επειδή είναι δεμένοι συναισθηματικά με τον κόσμο του και την ιστορία του νομίζω ότι είναι σπουδαίο κατόρθωμα.

S-E, πάρε πίσω Matsuno και δώσε το FF XV σε Yoshida και Matsuno, co-development (και απέλυσε όλο το team του ΧΙΙΙ ).

Louisoix is a prominent non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. He is the leader of the Circle of Knowing, a group involved in the Seventh Umbral Era storyline. He is most notable as the NPC involved in all quests related to Primals.
Like the rest of the Circle, is well-spoken and informed.
He is the typical wise old wizard, offering guidance and encouraging adventurers to overcome the daunting threat of the Primals.

Louisoix Leveilleur's Last Moments
Besides the Greatness of the whole trailer itself and the right Super Music “Answers”, I think that many adventurers were moved in the last moments of Louisoix Leveilleur (that was his last name ) because the CGI is suberb.

Really, the whole trailer reaches high level of computer graphics, of course, but in the end I wasn't really expecting that incredibly expressive expression from Louisoix: strained from the battle and from this last magic used, he looks high, blink the eyes and smile.
I found the second when he blinks, his eyes “enlarging a bit” before closing again (not sure if I explained myself correctly...), extremely real. Like, “I accept death with a smile on my face, thinking at the adventurers I could save and that one day will return to Eorzea”.

 

While with Aerith you were expected to like her and care about her, I think many players never thought Louisoix' death would affect them that much and that's why it's so surprising.
I've always liked him, but to many he was just this annoying grandpa who talked A LOT if you clicked wrong when trading in totems.
But that was actually very intelligent of SE because - no matter if you liked him as a person - pretty much every player interacted with him so so so many times for EVERYTHING we did. He became kind of a constant in our adventurer lives and seeing that man sacrifice himself for us was really sad.
Especially the "Thank god they are safe..now I can rest in peace"-smile in the end.

Every time I see that smile I know everything we did was not a failure. We won! But Louisoux is changed. Like all the great heros of FF he is more energy than mortal now. What happened to the firedrake? It is not clear which primal that was. It is not clear what happened to us. Louisoux did something to protect us, but what? We don't know. Outside the trailer we know it introduces us to the beginning of ARR. We were saved. Somehow Eorza was saved or reborn. It is a truely epic tale.

Didnt cry but was moved nonetheless. Louisoix accomplishing just what he wanted to do he got his wish as he stated in the Living on a prayer quest cs. If all he could do is spare "player name" to a new future he would be pleased.

Thanks Louisoix your gift will not be wasted.

I cried.
I mean this game served as my second life for well over a year and it's ended.
Watching Louisoix fail is where I lost it.

Yeah, I cried! I've formed a strong connection with my character, and all Eorzea, really.
So it hurt a bit watching everything being destroyed, and of course watching Louisoix's brave fight, he is Eorzea's Legendary warrior.......

No tears, but can't help but feel that Louisoix is a proper bloody hero. Never really felt any attachment with his character but when watching that video, I felt as though he was an uncle or granddad that just took so many bullets for me it was insane. Very sad to see him go by the end of the video.

What did it for me was the expressions of the GC leaders after they realized it was hopeless, and Louisox's final smile. ;_;

The way in which Louisoix smiles at the end of the trailer really creates one of the most tearjerking moments of a trailer. Ever. Whoever designed it, is a genius.

I was good, but shocked, for the entire trailer until Louisoix smiled and then my tears just flowed. ;_;

Louisoix went from old guy in Grid to badass hero of the world!

The look on Lou face was, "I did it, the world has hope and a chance. I can die in peace. Good Luck adventures."

I lost it at the very end after louis sent the adventurers (us) away and then in his last moments gave a teary smile as if there was a little spark of hope for the future.

RIP　Louisoux. You earned that rest

I didn't cry but I was in awe when Bahamut emerged, then in shock as Dalamud shattered and shards pummeled Eorzea and finally sad when Louisox died, it really was the ultimate sacrifice to save Eorzea.... Mega Flare to the face!!!

Like many others, I was fine until old Louisoix's smile at the end.

I did. I felt like I had a knot in my throat through most of the trailer, but at the end, it was old Louisoix's smile that got me. :'(

You are absolutely right, I cannot log in again in 1.0 even though I miss it already... this ending is too powerful, too many feelings, just to go back... we must move forward! And avenge Lousiroux and all his disciples!

From the moment Louisoix appeared on the hill to shield us all, my eyes started to water. Then I shed one tear for that smile that said it all.

Very emotional ending. Watching it over and over again. We witnessed the end of an Era.

Gotta admit I teared up and my throat closed up.
Watching Louisoix smile as he managed to send them somewhere safe, tears appeared.
Truly an epic trailer.

Didn't actually cry, but damn that was emotional. Louisoix's death affected me more than any other game death has.

I choked up...no tears...but watching Louisoix die, with that smile on his face...it just made me choke up a little.

I did not cry so much as be extremely happy with the video. I have an enormous amount of respect for Louisoix, and I will always remember his final smile, knowing that he failed but saved us. I want a statue of him somewhere. Make it happen SE.

"Many lives were lost..." I wonder who would be the ones to tell the tale of Louisoix's mighty sacrifice, everyone, even the leaders were in the chaos! ; ;

It'll probably be our duty and part of a quest to give him recognition. I would have to believe the survivors don't even know what had happen.
