PlayStation.Blog Share launched earlier this year to much fanfare as the innovative site gave PS3 consumers a chance to voice their opinions. Since then the massive survey site has been a big hit. 3,502 unique ideas have been submitted by the community with over 1,096,936 votes cast and 46,883 comments.






Firmware 3.40 was released just a couple of days ago along with the debut of Sony’s new premium PSN service PlayStation Plus. Both received rather surprising approval from the community. But when we take a look at PlayStation.Blog.Share, we can see why:

While we don’t have cross game voice chat, Metal Gear Solid 4 trophies, or a Brazilian PSN (+5,427 / 9,289 votes,) Sony is listening. They are giving gamers exactly what they want. Now with PlayStation Plus, we will have even more opportunities to impact the entire PlayStation experience.

Sony tease new gameplay footage hitting PlayStation Blog tomorrow

Sony have just announced that they are due to release new gameplay footage on the PlayStation Blog tomorrow, for an unspecified title.


In a tweet from the European PlayStation Blog account, they tease "New gameplay footage coming; check the blog tomorrow afternoon to find out what!"


Whilst the game in question remains unconfirmed, we can assume that this will be the new inFamous 2 Gameplay trailer that is due to be revealed to US audiences on GTTV tonight.

Η Sony σχεδιάζει στην εγκαθίδρυση νέων μοντέλων με σκληρό δίσκο των 160GB και ιδιάζουσας τιμής του τωρινού μοντέλου.

Η Sony αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει ένα νέο μοντέλο της κονσόλας PlayStation 3 από τις 29 Ιουλίου στην Ιαπωνία, που θα έχει μεγαλύτερη χωρητικότητα μνήμης στην ίδια τιμή.

Η εταιρεία θα διαθέσει προς πώληση μοντέλο χωρητικότητας 160 gigabyte έναντι 29,98 γεν (342 δολαρίων), δηλαδή στην ίδια τιμή που είχε το προηγούμενο μοντέλο 120 gigabyte. Θα κυκλοφορήσει επίσης μοντέλο με μνήμη 320 gigabyte έναντι 34,98 γεν, όπως ανακοίνωσε η Sony.
Οι μειώσεις τιμών από τη Sony ακολουθούν την αντίστοιχη κίνηση από την αντίπαλη Microsoft, που λάνσαρε τον προηγούμενο μήνα το νέο Xbox 360 στην Ιαπωνία έναντι 29,8 γεν και μείωσε την τιμή του παλιού μοντέλου κατά 17%.
Η Nintendo πούλησε τον περασμένο μήνα 73.336 κονσόλες Wii στην Ιαπωνία, ενώ η Sony πούλησε 71.779 PS3, σύμφωνα με την εταιρεία Enterbrain. Η Microsoft σημείωσε 22.673 πωλήσεις Xbox 360.

Sony has finally nailed down the date -- November 16 -- for Media Molecule's epic sequel, LittleBigPlanet 2.

Also revealed were the requisite retailer-specific pre-order items. Go with Amazon, get six Sackboy costumes -- one of Ratchet, one of Clank, and four "Animal Costumes." Go with Best Buy, get an exclusive "Alien" from Toy Story 3 costume, along with four costumes from the "Even More Animals" pack. GameStop pre-order customers get another Disney-related exclusive, a Tron: Legacy Sackboy outfit, along with that "Even More Animals" pack.

Of course, there's also a collector's edition, and it looks pretty damned great. So far, some features that are available in this update are:
