Kαλα οχι οτι αμφιβαλλω πως θα πουν κατι τετοιο
Απλα υπηρχε γενικα ως δεδομενο μεχρι τωρα, οτι οι ''καλοι χακερς'' θελουν να τιμωρησουν την ''κακια sony'' λογο της χουντικης αποφασης να βγαλει το other OS.
Σε λιγες μερες(ελπιζω)θα εχουμε βγαλει τα τελικα συμπερασματα μας.

Κοίτα σε αυτή τη στάση της αγιοποίησης των μέσων των hackers, ήμουν εξ αρχής αντίθετος. Το ότι έβγαλε το Other OS, ή όποια άλλη αιτιολογία και να υπήρχε σε καμμία περίπτωση δεν τους δίνει ελαφρυντικό. Το πρόβλημα αφορά εμάς και τις εταιρείες. Γιατί σε τελική ανάλυση ό,τι και να λέμε όταν ο άλλος έχει υποκλέψει τόσα στοιχεία, δεν υπάρχει πιθανότητα να τον υποστηρίξεις. Το ζήτημα είναι πως αυτή τη στιγμή η Sony, χάνει χρήματα, έχασε σε κύρος και πρέπει υπό την πίεση του χρόνου να ανταπεξέλθει- ρε μπας και μιλάω για την Ελλάδα και δεν το ξέρω?

Λέτε μετά απ'αυτό η Sony να κάνει το online επί πληρωμή;

Και ποιος θα πληρώσει μετά από αυτό τον κακό χαμό? Πολλώ δε μάλλον για μια υπηρεσία που το μόνο προτέρημα που είχε- αν είχε- επί του xbox live ήταν το δωρεάν online και τώρα η συνεργασία με την Valve για τη steam.

Ας δούμε τι θα γίνει και με τα cloud saves, τα online ids σε FPS με την πρόοδο κτλ. Το καλό είναι πως μάλλον ρίξαν νωρίς το PSN για να αποφύγουν παρεμβάσεις σε τέτοια δεδομένα. Ωστόσο μέχρι στιγμής δεν υπάρχει επιβεβαίωση ή διάψευση από τη Sony για το τι έχει επηρεαστεί.

hideo κατά τη γνώμη μου η συγκεκριμένη κίνηση της SONY δεν είναι λιγότερο απαράδεκτη από όλα αυτά που κάνουν οι hackers. Προφανώς και δεν εγκρίνω τίποτα από όλα αυτά βέβαια.

Enpsty για να πείσει η SONY μετά από όλα αυτά πρέπει να κάνει το PSN+ τσάμπα . Κατά τη γνώμη μου χαμένο παιχνίδι είναι πάντως, το 360 έχασε πάρα πολλούς με το τo RRoD, η SONY δε θα χάσει αντίστοιχα πολλούς με κάτι που είναι απείρως χειρότερο και δεν καλύπτεται και από πουθενά;

Ας ρίξει όλη της την προσοχή στο NGP και σε μία πιθανή νέα κονσόλα, ή στα tablets, το PS3 είναι doomed to fail (again ).

Οντως πιο πιθανο ειναι μετα να δωσει δωρεαν psn plus σε ολους για κανα μηνα τουλαχιστον προσπαθωντας να τραβηξουν παλι το κοσμο πισω.

δυστυχώς έτσι είναι, αν θυμάμαι χάκερς είχαν αποκτήσει πρόσβαση και σε απόρρητα της CIA.

Βλεποντας ομως τη συνολικη εικονα, οι crackers εχουν τη δυναμη να ανατρεψουν το συστημα. Λαχταρω για τη μερα που θα τα γ@μησουν κυριολεκτικα ολα. Το μεγαλυτερο ποσοστο του χρηματος αυτη τη στιγμη υπαρχει μονο ηλεκτρονικα στις τραπεζες. Το συστημα τρεμει τους crackers και γι αυτο εγω τους αγαπαω. Ζητω το χαος.

Προσωπικα πιστευω οτι οι χρηστες δεν κινδυνευουν απ'ολο αυτο, πιο πολυ θα ελεγα οτι ειναι επιδειξη δυναμης απεναντι στη Sony και επι της ουσιας αφορα μονο την εταιρια και τα κερδη της. Γενικοτερα τα ατομα που κανουν τετοιες επιθεσεις ειναι στη λογικη που ειπε ο Ground, δεν τους ενδιαφερουν τα οικονομικα οφελη αν αυτα προερχονται απο τους απλους καταναλωτες. Το χαος και η αναστατωση ειναι ο στοχος. Δεν γνωριζω αν η ασφαλεια της Sony ειναι τοσο broken οσο ανεφερουν πολλοι αλλα θεωρω οτι δεν εχει και τοση σημασια, απο τη στιγμη που hackers αποφασισαν να επιτεθουν η κατασταση θα ηταν τετοια ουτως ή αλλως... Θα μπορουσε ανετα ολο αυτο να συμβει και στη microsoft... Imo η Sony απλα χειριστηκε λαθος το θεμα των hackers, τραβωντας τους την προσοχη, με αποτελεσμα να φτασουμε σε αυτο που γινεται το τελευταιο διαστημα.

Ας ελπισουμε ολο αυτο να ληξει συντομα, αν και σε επιπεδο προγραμματισμου (να χτιστει ενα hack proof συστημα απο το τμημα της sony) το κοβω αδυνατο να εχουμε τελος. Πιο πολυ μεσω της λυσης του συμβιβασμου το βλεπω να πηγαινει. Γι'αυτο το λογο θεωρω και επικινδυνο το να κυκλοφορησει οποιαδηποτε νεα κονσολα απο τη Sony αν δεν ληξει ολο αυτο το σκηνικο (ngp κλπ)... Σημασια δεν εχει τοσο το συστημα ασφαλειας σου οσο το αν οι hackers αποφασισουν να ασχοληθουν μαζι σου...

Although no real update has been issued by Sony since yesterday and that wasn't even really an update rather just a follow-up to saying, "we're working to get PSN back up". Now, it has been confirmed that the FBI is now involved with this situation, so it's getting as deep as it can possibly get for the users responsible for this attack on the Playstation Network.

Also, from filed reports, Sony is looking to lose 24 Billion from sales, that includes such providers as Netflix, etc. And this is also holding up the production of at least two games as well due to the fact that game maker's cannot test said games online due to the situation. The new Twisted Metal is one of them along side Infamous 2.

This is all just some info I rathered today from various resources, but sadly that's all there is for right now. No real update on when it was be "back up", just a headline for what's going on.

Here are some tips and what's the come from PSN as of yesterday:

The PlayStation Blog has posted another question and answer session detailing the fallout from a hacker attack on the PlayStation Network that gave up the personal information of its users. The majority of the information covered by the post is known to folks who have been keeping up with the day-to-day reports here on IGN, but there were a few new tidbits.
How Safe Is Your Personal Info?
"All of the data was protected, and access was restricted both physically and through the perimeter and security of the network. The entire credit card table was encrypted and we have no evidence that credit card data was taken. The personal data table, which is a separate data set, was not encrypted, but was, of course, behind a very sophisticated security system that was breached in a malicious attack."
Did They Get Your Credit Card?
"While all credit card information stored in our systems is encrypted and there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained. Keep in mind, however that your credit card security code (sometimes called a CVC or CSC number) has not been obtained because we never requested it from anyone who has joined the PlayStation Network or Qriocity, and is therefore not stored anywhere in our system."
Changing Your Password
"We are working on a new system software update that will require all users to change their password once PlayStation Network is restored. We will provide more details about the new update shortly."
The Future
"Moving forward, we are initiating several measures that will significantly enhance all aspects of PlayStation Network's security and your personal data, including moving our network infrastructure and data center to a new, more secure location, which is already underway. We will provide additional information on these measures shortly."

Tι να πω, το πραγμα εχει αρχισει και γινεται παρα πολυ σοβαρο (απ'οτι ειδα στο post του Vaynard, εχει πλεον εμπλακει και το FBI στην υποθεση). Ειναι η πρωτη φορα που μια εταιρια του χωρου δεχεται ενα τοσο σοβαρο χτυπημα και σιγουρα ειναι απο τις στιγμες που θα περασουν στην ιστορια...Ας ελπισουμε συντομα να υπαρξει ενα τελος στην ολη υποθεση μιας και μερα με τη μερα το πραγμα γινεται ολο και χειροτερο για τη sony. Το θεμα εχει πλεον ξεφυγει απο τα στενα συνορα της κοινοτητας του χωρου και εχει παρει τεραστιες διαστασεις...
