Far Cry 2 was announced earlier this year for the PS3 and 360, but sadly there were no details surrounding the game. Thanks to the latest issue of Edge, we have some new details on the game and it sounds interesting.
The gameplay will feature a complete re-haul from the original Far Cry and now feature a type of leveling up system. At the start of the game you'll become infected with malaria, as you progress you'll discover medication that slowly cures you. The more medication you take, the stronger you'll be and you'll become more resistance to attack and injury. However, if you lose access to medication, things will quickly become unpleasant. Your character will begin to mutate into a viscous vomiting mutant. Sounds like a good time doesn't it?
Also included will be a new reputation system. As you progress through the game your actions will influence your stance with two bands of rebels. Your main objective in the game is to assassinate a powerful arms dealer, but the only way to get close enough to your target is to prove yourself a worthy ally to one of the rebel groups. As you become more 'popular' with your group, comrades will join you in battles and even carry you to cover if you get stuck under fire.
With a lot of new additions and innovations, Far Cry 2 is looking to reinvent the series later this year. Stay tuned for more details on Far Cry 2.[/b]
Is it as simple as praying to a golden, robotic calf? Perhaps ?god? is recognized as some kind of sentient artificial intelligence who demands subservience in exchange for feats and favors?
Or maybe, just maybe, the human race has already answered this question: technology is worshipped, simply and plainly, through obsession and attainment. We are a people dominated by technology, from our electrically-powered cities right down to our scientifically engineered anti-depressant medications. And every Sunday mass we miss to stay home and watch football on our HDTVs is further proof that now, more than ever, technology is the deity we hold most dear.
Now imagine all of that compulsion, all of that addiction we as an entire race share, and encapsulate it into one group of people. Imagine the obsession and fervor, the unending need for technological superiority, and the ultimate futility of such a goal.
Imagine, if you will, the Brotherhood of Steel.

"All of these questions and more are apparently answered in a recent article by Jake Metcalf from 8Bit Joystick (no relation), who interviewed a nameless "inside source" at Microsoft who was involved in the testing and manufacturing of the console. According to the John Doe, the system was rushed to beat Sony to the market, had purposefully cheap heat sinks (which causes most of the RROD problems), and, most disturbingly, there's a chance that Microsoft may run out of systems with which to replace those that suffer hardware failures."
Somebody still has a lot of work to do...από 30 σε 10% αλλά και πάλι είναι υψηλό σχετικά το ποσοστό ROD
XBW review: Devil May Cry 4
+Sublime Gameplay Mechanics
+Solid Narrative/Story
+Dante's one - liners
-backtracking/level repetition
-camera can be a bother
9/10
Devil May Cry 4 is everything a hack-and-slash should be and then some. Sadly it falters with repeated level design and a moderately troublesome camera; but in the grand scheme of things, these are only minor flaws. Devil May Cry 4 delivers an experience that is second to none on Xbox 360, so far. Held together by a solid narrative, it makes your blood boil with every fight you encounter. It's a great title, pick it up.[/b]
There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot change the world:
Those who are afraid to try, and those who are afraid that you will succeed.
