Ανακοινώθηκε από την Capcom ότι το Resident Evil 6 θα κυκλοφορήσει για ps3 και Xbox 360 στις 20 Νοεμβρίου του 2012, ενώ αργότερα θα κυκλοφορήσει και σε pc καθώς βρίσκεται ήδη σε ανάπτυξη.

Το παιχνίδι παίρνει μέρος 10 χρόνια μετά το δυστύχημα στην Racoon City. O πρόεδρος των ΗΠΑ αποκάλυψε την αλήθεια στο τι έγινε με την ελπίδα να ηρεμήσουν οι βιοτρομοκρατικές δραστηριότητες. Στο πλευρό του ο φίλος και επιζών Leon s. Kennedy, ο οποίος πρέπει να αντιμετωπίσει τον πρόεδρο μεταμορφωμένο μετά από μία τρομοκρατική επίθεση στον λευκό οίκο. Την ίδια στιγμή ο Chris Redfield, μέλος της Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance καταφθάνει στην Κίνα υπό την απηλή μιας βιορομοκρατικής επίθεσης. Καμία χώρα δεν είναι ασφαλής και ολόκληρος ο πλανήτης έχει ενωθεί εναντίον ενός κοινού φόβου: "δεν υπάρχει καμία ελπίδα".

Resident Evil 6: Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy Playable
As a potential announcement approaches, more details about Capcom's next horror game emerge.

For the first time in Resident Evil history, Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield will both be playable characters in Capcom's ambitious six main entry in its survival horror series. Sources within the development team have started to give IGN a broad picture of the game's scope, which certainly seems larger than any Resident Evil title we've seen so far. This news comes on the heels of the leaked logo and release date for the game.

Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy will not be alone in this new game. Both Chris and Leon will have unnamed partners of their own, teaming up in similar fashion to the Chris Redfield/Jessica Sherawat and Jill Valentine/Parker Luciani pairings in Resident Evil Revelations. Sources tell us Chris and Leon will have seperate stories in the game that will eventually overlap in some capacity.

We're also told Ada Wong will have a playable role in the game, though not immediately. It appears as though the Ada storyline will become available to players after the Chris and Leon arcs have been completed, plus a third primary narrative featuring a new character. Any of the three main story branches will be selectable early on in the game, allowing players to see each storyline through to completion before starting another one.

Resident Evil 6 is also set to take place across the globe, including China, which has been an often-rumored location for months. VentureBeat reports the RE6 development team is the "same internal Japanese team that has worked on previous entries." That same report suggests this game is being styled after both Resident Evil 4 and 5, attempting to find a middle ground between horror and action.

When contacted, Capcom stated it would not comment on rumors, reports or speculation. IGN sources have also given us the Resident Evil 6 logo and release date.

Δεν μπορώ να δω το trailer- ελέω surfstick και περιορισμένης ογκοχρέωσης- περιγράψτε τι γίνεται xD

Πέρα από την πλάκα. Μακάρι να βγει άψογο- όπως και το Revelations το οποίο ελπίζω να προλάβω να παίξω εγκαίρως. Παίζω αυτή την περίοδο το Resi 4 στο Wii και ενθουσιάστηκα με το πόσο διασκεδάζω με ένα game που έχω τελειώσει ήδη 3 φορές στο Gamecube. Άψογο απλά. Το 5 το είχα προσπαθήσει co-op με τον αδερφό μου, αλλά για κάποιο λόγο ποτέ δεν μας έκατσε. Τo game απλά δε μας κέντριζε το ενδιαφέρον ή δεν ήταν καλό το timing, dunno.

Μιας και δεν είχα πάρει μυρωδιά τι παίζει, πραγματικα δεν περίμενα με τπτ σε τέτοια χρονική στιγμή αποκάλυψη του 6. Eιδικά τώρα που έχω πορωθεί πάλι με το 4, τόσο πολύ.( έχει sd tv στο wohnheim οπότε ευτυχώς δεν κλαίνε τα μάτια μου xD)

Εντυπώσεις:
Φαίνεται απίστευτο,επικό κλπ.Το όλο στυλ μου θύμισε μια μίξη παλιού με νέο.Καλό αυτό.Έτσι η Capcom θα ευχαριστήσει και τις 2 πλευρές.
Πολύ ωραίο Trailer.Όπως και με το Operation Racoon City ούτε που κατάλαβα πότε πέρασαν 3.5 λεπτά.
Πρέπει να βάλω στο πρόγραμμα το RE5.Όποιος θέλει co-op ας μου πει.

Μια υπερπαραγωγη σε λαθος δρομο, αυτο εχω να πω.

Δε καταλαβαινω τι εχει παθει η Capcom, δεν ειναι αυτο το Resident Evil που θελει ο κοσμος. Αυτη την αισθηση εχω κι ας μην ειμαι φαν της σειρας (εχω παιξει μεχρι ενα σημειο το 4, αρκετα λιγοτερο το 5 κι εχω δει μεγαλο μερος του 2 να το παιζει αλλος).

Κι εγώ με τα 3 πρώτα μεγάλωσα,αλλά αυτό που είδα δε με χάλασε καθόλου.Αν επιτευχθεί η κατάλληλη ισορροπία ανάμεσα σε horror & action θα είμαι ευχαριστημένος.
