-Itagaki stated that the main way to guarantee better camera angels is to keep the camera flat and horizontal so that it shows a single plane. They've also implemented multiple cameras for better angles so when there's a change of elevation or geography another camera picks up the action behind Ryu
-While the story in Ninja Gaiden is notoriously nonsensical we still had to ask what Ryu's motivation is for the sequel. It can't be easy coming up with challenges to the ultimate ninja, but Itagaki assured us that there is a character in this story that has made it his life's mission to stop Ryu Hayabusa. He also inferred that when designing games, he's more likely to interject his personality into the rival enemy character than the protagonist. "Since this is a game, I have to die for the game to be complete." Does this mean that Ryu's greatest enemy will be Itagaki himself? We're dying to find out.
-How does Ninja Gaiden look? In a word it looks fantastic. There are no prerendered cut scenes this time around and they would hardly be necessary. Ryu looks more detailed in battle than he did in the movies that introduced the first game. In game cut scenes also means that every time Ryu changes into one of his excellent alternate costumes it will be reflected in every scene. [/b]

It's almost like the difference between the first Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 4; the key gameplay remains the same, and you can really enjoy fighting and winning, but we're also throwing out a bunch of visual stimulation so that you can look cool and enjoy doing it while playing. So if I were to think about it that way, I would call this game "Ninja Gaiden 4," in terms of how far advanced it is over the first one.[/b]
GameTap: Halo 3 has a full suite of community features, like video and screenshot functionality. Team Ninja and Bungie are friends, so are any of Halo 3's community features going to make their way to Ninja Gaiden II?
Tomonobu Itagaki: I think the saved films feature of Halo 3 is pretty cool, where you can save replays of your games. You need to remember that we come from the area of fighting games, so we've worked on replay technology for over 10 years. We've heard from fans who've played Halo 3 that they would like to see a similar thing in Ninja Gaiden II, so I'm considering how we might be able to implement that.[/b]

What we heard: With over 2.7 million copies sold in the US alone, Gears of War has been an unqualified hit. So it would be totally unsurprising if the Xbox 360 and now PC shooter got the sequel treatment. After all, Epic Games' vice president Mark Rein has fueled rumours that a sequel was in the works. As far back as November 2006, he told readers on the game's official forums that Gears of War was meant to be a trilogy. "If we can keep making quality games that fans obviously love...then why would we have to stop at three? I don't see the Metal Gear Solid, Mario, Grand Theft Auto, or Final Fantasy series (among others) stopping at three."
