Τελικά αυτά που ακούγοταν για εμπλοκη της Naughty dog στο K3 δεν ισχύουν

Mα δεν νομίζω πως μίλησε κανείς για εμπλοκή και της ND στην ανάπτυξη του Killzone 3. Προσωπικά απ' ότι διάβασα έχω καταλάβει πως η ND έδωσε ή θα δώσει στην Guerilla κάποια tips σχετικά με το hardware του ps3, κάποια στοιχεία από την graphic engine του Uncharted 2 και γενικά τέτοια πράματα.

Καλά εντάξει το 3d μπορεί όπως λένε να φαίνεται απίστευτο το θέμα είναι όμως πως προσωπικά εγώ δεν σκοπεύω να προχωρήσω σε αγορά 3d HDTV για το Killzone 3 (και άλλα 3d games) δίνοντας πχ 800 ευρώ.

Απο εκεί που έκανα υπομονή 6 μήνες μέχρι να πάρω HDTV για να μπορώ να παίξω τις παιχνιδάρες όπως τις αρμόζει, τώρα βγαίνει κάτι νέο, και γω αναρωτιόμουν τι άλλος λόγος θα υπάρξει στο μέλλον για έναν gamer (πέρα πλέον από την HD era) προκειμένου να προχωρήσει στην αγορά νέας tv.

Αυτο ειναι λογικο να συμβαινει με ολα τα μεγαλα παιχνιδια σε ολα τα συστηματα. Haters gonna hate. Μη κολλαμε σε αυτα τωρα.


Εγω μενω στα εξης:

-Περιοχες δεκα φορες μεγαλυτερες απ οτι το 2, με ποικιλια στο περιβαλλον, ζουγκλα, χιονισμενα τοπια και zero gravity περιοχες.

-Νεο Μelee combat system, που φαινεται γαμω.

-Jetpacks

-Πιο αμεσος χειρισμος

-To 3D ειναι απιστευτο λενε τα previews.

-Kαι κατι πολυ σημαντικο.. η βοηθεια απο τους τυπους της Naughty dog. Ειναι σιγουρο τα snow effects τα πηρανε απο το Uncharted 2 και πως θα τους βοηθησουν στο storytelling. Ο δημοσιογραφος στα scans λεει πολλα για την ιστορια και το πως οι Helghast μοιαζουν στους Ναζι κτλ. Θελουν να κανουν μια δεμενη πλοκη και αυτο ειναι πολυ καλο.


Killzone 3 has no "gratuitous" swearing

Guerrilla Games' Steven Ter Heide has told a relieved Eurogamer that swearing has been curtailed for Killzone 3.
Not completely, but the contrast to Killzone 2 will be dramatic.





"Yes!" blurted Ter Heide when asked if there will be less potty-mouthed antics in Killzone 3. "Our sound director is here today and we said to him, 'Go through the entire database and, anything that's got s*** or f*** in it, just get rid of it - we don't want to hear it ever again!"


Ter Heide went on to explain that Killzone 3 was still "firmly aiming" to be an 18-rated game.




"Yes, definitely. That's a lot to do with the violence and things like the brutal melee system. We're firmly aiming for an 18," he said.
"But we feel the dialogue in there shouldn't be gratuitous; it should be about advancing the story and natural responses. It shouldn't be off-the-scale swearing.


"We've toned it down a little bit to make sure that the story comes across in the way we wanted it to come across," he added. "That's definitely one of the points we took on board from Killzone 2."

Killzone 2 which just had destructible environments, the environments in Killzone 3 “fully destructible ‘are.


Killzone 3 is the fourth part in the Killzone series of Dutch developer Guerrilla Games, which earlier this year confirmed by us , and earlier this week officially confirmed by Sony.


One of the spearheads of Killzone 2, which received much praise for the graphic art piece that the game had been fully destructible environments. Eventually, the destructible environments limited to a few areas in Killzone 2, but in the upcoming Killzone 3 is really Guerilla for total destruction.

Περιττό να πω πως γίνεται χαμός στο gaming internet με την αποκάλυψη του Killzone 3.

"2 days ago I was able to play Killzone 3 behind closed doors in Amsterdam and have to say that it looks crazy.

The graphics are still based on the same engine as its predecessor, but was immensely improved.

While the playable areas of the second part of the series were pretty linear, we can assume that there will be wider areas like those of Battlefield BC 2.
What impressed me the most in the 30 minutes were the snow effects. It just looks fantastic how the snow lays down on the weapon and melts when shooting - and all that in 3D!

To be honest, I was a bit sceptical but KZ3 looks phenomenal in 3D, the explosions, the rain and the snow seem to be so real, that hollywood blockbusters like Avatar pale in comparison.

According to Guerilla each exemplar will be shipped with 2 killzone-styled 3D glasses.

I can't say anything about the controls, because Sony didn't show anything about them, but KZ3 is targeted to be played with a generic controller or the Arc.
